Decorating Bathroom Mirrors Ideas

June 20 2019

SIMPLE SCONCES

Simple lighting offers striking contrast to this busy Finnish wallpaper in the 1950s adorning the walls of the Manhattan flat powder room, decorated by Katie Ridder. Hanging over a Waterworks sink that is simple yet stylish, a FontanaArte mirror echoes the wall colour.

MID-CENTURY CHANDELIER

As a result of some brother architects, this flat on Paris's Right Bank includes a dark and moody aesthetic which updates classic French style for the 21st century. The master bathroom retains a 1950s dining table a 1960s chandelier, and also a Saarinen armchair. The niche is clad in tiles the walls are of marble, and the floor is tiled with marble and gold-leafed-glass mosaics.

THREE PRONG CHANDELIER

Within an English country house, the guest bathroom has a tub and fittings reclaimed from another part of the manor; the drapes are of a James Hare silk, and the carpeting is by Ryalux.

FABRIC SCONCES

In this Brooklyn townhouse has shibori background in the powder room is by Amber Interiors for Studio Four NYC and the mirror is by Rejuvenation.

LOW-HANGING LAMP

Designer Darryl Carter creates a master bath that's true to his Virginia farmhouse's origins by employing a very simple lamp he designed for the Urban Electric Co., a sink vanity made out of an oak table, and a slim mirror that sits in the front of the windows.

GILDED CHANDELIER

A sculpture by Louise Bourgeois overlooks a bathroom in French architect Jacques Grange's Paris apartment. The chandelier is 19th-century; the bathtub, sink, and faucet are by L'Epi d'Or and the inlaid marble floor is based on a pattern that is Byzantine.
